Kirsten Sweetland is an RMT with a firm belief in marrying movement and manual therapy. Her goal is to aid in her client’s recovery in the treatment room, and provide education to give them the tools they need to care for their bodies outside the treatment room.
Kirsten is new to town from Squamish where she worked alongside physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons. She has experience working with a myriad of injuries as well as pre and post operative patients. She is curious and passionate about the process of injury rehabilitation and helping people on their journey out of pain.
Kirsten has also completed Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates training. She considers herself a life-long student of the human body and continues to study both studio and clinical Pilates.
Prior to her career in Massage Therapy, Kirsten was a professional athlete. She competed for 20 years in endurance sport and represented Canada at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Outside of the clinic, you can find her on the trails running, or mountain biking with her trail dog, Theodore!
