Jennifer became a Naturopathic Doctor upon completion of the 4 year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicinein Toronto in 2003. Prior to that, she attendedQueen's Universityin Kingston, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Science and Life Sciences. She is a certified Bowen Practitioner. She is a Professional Labour Assistant, having undergone training with theAssociation of Labour Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE).She has also completed the Healthy Breast Program with Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur, who is world renowned for her work on women's health. In 2011, she finished the Environmental Medicine training program with Dr. Walter Crinnion, an expert in the area. In her practice, she has developed special interests in the areas of women's health, digestive disorders, paediatrics and the impact of the environment on chronic health conditions.
She is licensed through theBoard of Directors of Drugless Therapies-Naturopathy (BDDT-N),and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND)and theOntario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Since moving to Saugeen Shores in 2003, she has enjoyed becoming involved in the local community by speaking to a variety of school, community and business groups, and teaching courses on Women's Natural Health through the Bluewater District School Board. She is a co-owner of the multi-disciplinary Maple Shores Health Centre in Port Elgin, the largest alternative health care clinic in Grey-Bruce.
Jennifer resides in Port Elgin with her husband, Steve, their sons, Ewan and Cayden, their daughter, Ivy, and their Labradoodle, Cooper. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, gardening, and home renovating/ decorating. She also enjoys practicing yoga and walking on the beautiful trails Saugeen Shores has to offer.
