These are the BIGGEST hit I have ever witnessed at any potluck, or other gathering, period. They are super simple to make, and delicious! Gluten free, dairy free, guilt free 😉

Ingredients:

Dates

Bacon

Spreadable Goats Cheese

Toothpics (not needed but can help)

Optional: Almonds, Pecans, or other things you’d like to stuff in there. Cream cheese works also, however not as healthy.

Instructions:

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2.Cut bacon strips in half.

3.Slice dates down the middle and remove the pit and crunchy end.

4.Use a butter knife to spread goats cheese inside the date.

5.Wrap each date with a piece of bacon.

6.Toothpics aren’t necessary but can be used to help keep them together, otherwise place end of bacon side down on baking sheet.

Note: Always use a baking sheet that has edges, to avoid bacon grease spilling over the edge.

7.Bake for 20 minutes, flipping them over half way.

8. Enjoy!
