Why are you working out too hard?

damage metabolism, over-working out, tiring out

You could be doing more damage than good!

When your metabolism is already damaged, working out "too much" or incorrectly can slow down your hormonal fire! Guess which of these 3 common exercise types can depress your thyroid by 28.2%?

  • Running, spin classes or hot yoga sessions?
  • Lifting weights, kettlebells or even just bodyweight?
  • CrossFit or another high-intensity workout?

Shockingly, "every single one can slow your thyroid – and fat burning – to a crawl." Quoted from Dr. Jade Teta

I found this out the hard way when 3 years after having kids, I still couldn't cheat on one meal or I would gain weight! and I had 20 pounds extra that seemed to not want to budge! I was exhausted from working out and stressed at the time it took to hit the gym and was gaining even more weight it seemed! After digging deeper into training about the thyroid and hormonal system at large through other doctors, learning from Dr. Teta about metabolism and trial and error in my own life I found a magic recipe it seems for how to not become energy depleted overall and yet kick start the metabolic juices.

The best thing is that in my private practice the proof was in the pudding... it was working even for woman that claimed they couldn't lose weight and "couldn't exercise" due to inability. My 2 most recent case studies report that even if they "fall off the bandwagon a bit" they still seem to be losing inches as if the metabolic flame has been reignited and they can't lose.
