Mental Health During COVID-19 Pandemic

In this post, I would like to reiterate one suggestion based on what I've observed in my practice. If I were to share one advice about how to manage mental health during the pandemic, it would be, "Prioritise and protect your sleep."

It has become common knowledge that a positive correlation exists between mental health and the strength of the immune system. Some of us may also be aware that poor sleep can lead to or exacerbate mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression. Now that we need to rely on our immune systems to withstand the novel coronavirus pandemic, good sleep has become even more important.
