There is a only a small percent of people that cannot be hypnotized. In order to be hypnotised you must be able to follow instructions, and be able to have focused concentration. It requires that you allow the hypnotist, like the passenger in a car to tell you, the driver, where to go.
So much of your ability to be hypnotised is up to you, and whether or not you are receptive to someone guiding you into hypnosis to help you make the changes you desire.
