Naturopathic Doctors (ND) are trained in many modalities, which include Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Botanical Medicine, Chiropractic Manipulation, Hydrotherapy, and Holistic Counselling.

To obtain the credential of Naturopathic doctor (ND), the following criteria must be met:

  • Completed a pre-medical university degree with a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a four-point scale.
  • Completion of a 4-year full-time accredited Naturopathic Medicine program with supervised clinical experience.
  • Passing of the North American wide Naturopathic Physician Licensing Exam (NPLEX I and II) and province-specific board exam with practicum.
  • Complete requirements for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits on an ongoing basis.”€¹

Each patient is unique and each case starts by keeping in mind that the Healthy Body has a strong innate ability to heal. To heal the patients in a holistic manner, one must first find the root cause(s). This is done by thorough investigative work-up. As a result, the most effective and appropriate modality (or combination of modalities) is then chosen to help the patients and to guide them through their healing process.
