Less Stress = Better Health

I tried conventional medicine, assessed my nutrients, hormones, allergens, and toxins to guide me to treat eczema naturopathically. But I was frustrated every time I had a flare up. What was I missing?

For the last 9 years, I have coached and treated hundreds of people in the area of stress management, an area that affects all of us at some point in our life. My own experiences helped me to understand how stress management is often the missing puzzle piece in someone’s health picture.

Since childhood I have suffered from eczema, a chronic skin condition that comes and goes, and is affected by allergies, diet, and as I learned the hard way, chronic stress. I tried conventional medicine, assessed my nutrients, hormones, allergens, and toxins to guide me to treat eczema naturopathically. But I was frustrated every time I had a flare-up. What was I missing?

Early on in my career, I had stressed about work, money, planning a wedding, and then trying to have a family of my own. What if I had difficulty conceiving because I was waiting too long? Every little thing was setting me off, and I was left frustrated and overwhelmed. One day, my life changed when a blood test showed that I had markers of an autoimmune disease. With my eczema flaring up and stress at its peak, I came to the realization that I had the choice to get better. I could not get rid of the stress, but I could control how I handled it.

I made a conscious choice to commit to a naturopathic lifestyle using mindfulness, acupuncture, diet, and the lifestyle choices that were best for me. Now that I had reframed my stress, I felt better, my eczema improved, my blood test normalized, and I had found the missing puzzle piece. Stress management was the missing piece…with it, true healing can occur.

The naturopathic approach with a focus on stress management has truly changed my life and the people I work with. I found that it was the missing puzzle piece that has brought them health and true healing. This is why I am so passionate about this work, and I would LOVE your support in helping me serve the people who really need the work I offer. Please share this story with them. Your referrals are most welcome.
