What is occupational health?

Occupational health is defined as the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of physical, mental and social well-being of workers in all occupations by preventing departures from health, controlling risks and the adaptation of work to people, and people to their jobs.

StL Diagnostic Imaging provides Occupational Health Services mostly in the form of chest x-rays.  We work independently or as are a part of a team that through x-ray and other medical services help ensure the physical health of employees at their place of employment. 

There is benefit in an occupational health program for both the employer and the employee.  The employer is able to provide convenient and professional on site health care for their employees.  While employees are able to access this health care simply for a check up or to discuss any possible work injuries or concerns.
