Cold and Flu Explained
Colds and flu's are seasonal upper respiratory infection that peak in the fall and through the winter and early spring but really can occur at any time during the year. A typical cold or flu can be expected to last 3-5 days but can persist for up to 7-10 days. Antibiotics do not work for the common cold or flu to either reduce the severity or duration of illness.
