Helen holds a BA Psychology from Queen's University (2000) and obtained her Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University (2011). She has also completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Helen has extensive experience providing both group and individual therapy to those struggling with trauma and abuse, addictions, depression/anxiety or in need of guidance through a challenging life transition.
When not at work, Helen enjoys caring for 5 delightful children. She's also a passionate dog owner, one of which has been known to act as a "therapy dog" in her sessions.
