Upon arriving at a client’s home nurse shall be donned and doffed in the main area of the door way. Mask and Gown will be donned as per Public Health and Safety recommended. Tool kit will be sanitized with appropriate solutions before entering and after leaving clients home. Hand-washing or sanitizing will be practiced throughout treatment.Dirty reusable or disposable gowns will be placed in a plastic bag and disposed properly. Hands cleansed and entered transportation.
Only one nurse and one client are allowed in the clinic at this time. Client temperature is taken and screening is done a mask is recommended if the client is able to tolerate it. Hand washing and or sanitizing encouraged.
Nurses at Sole Pulse Inc. are tested every week. We already have our first vaccine and waiting on the second dose. Please rest assured we are doing our part to ensure our clients, communities and families are safe.

1. Completed Practical Nursing Diploma (3 year College Program) and successfully completed her Nursing Placements (Hospital and Nursing Home)
2. Completed Advanced Nursing Foot Care (4 additional months immediately following her Practical Nursing Training)
3. Member of College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing (allowing Denise to practice in Ontario and call herself a “nurse”)
4. Has been servicing foot care clients since 2012 (many repeat clients and word-of-mouth referrals – please keep them coming!)
5. Keeps current with the lastest nursing foot care practices and procedures (attends conferences and foot care workshops; member of Nurses Entrepreneurial Foot Care Association of Canada and Independent Business Specialty Interest Group of RPNAO)
6. Takes equipment sterilization and infection control very seriously. All instruments are cleaned, sterilized using a ‘hospital-grade’ Autoclave, and stored in individual pouches after EACH use to protect clients from cross contamination. Nurses also always wear disposable gloves, and the foot tub is lined with a single-use, disposable liner.

Geared to cients who need serious TLC without the frills and luxury. Recommended for athletes (all genders) and anyone with sore, tired leg & foot muscles, ingrown toenails, stubborn calluses and other foot issues.
Includes: warm foot soak with cooling aromatics (peppermint, eucalyptus, etc.), foot scrub with foot file, cuticle care, nail filing and relaxing foot massage. (Our focus is on health promotion. We do not apply nail polish).
Paraffin Wax Treatment
Geared to clients who want a luxurious treat for their excessively dry feet.
CAUTION: Not recommended for clients who have numbness in feet, are diabetic, have rashes or open sores. Each client will be assessed before any treatment.
Treatment includes: paraffin wax application followed by a relaxing foot massage.
Does not include: nail care or foot scrub.
Health benefits may include: relief from dry skin, relaxes muscles, increases blood flow, relieves joint stiffness (arthritis), reduces pain (arthritis).
Hot Stone Foot Massage
Geared to clients who want an indulgent experience meant to soothe the sorest of leg and foot muscles. CAUTION: Not recommended for clients who are pregnant, have diabetes or certain cancers, or have broken bones. Each client will be assessed before any treatment.
Treatment includes: a classic warm foot soak followed by a variety of essential oils applied with the help of hot stones.
Does not include: nail care or foot scrub.
Health benefits may include: reduces stress, promotes deep relaxation, increases flexibility in joints, decreases pain muscle spasms.
Geared to those with diabetes or other high-risk foot concerns. (Foot soaking feet is not recommended).
Includes: foot assessment, cuticle care, nail filing, wound treatment and foot massage.
Does not include polish, as it is not recommended for healthy toenails.
