Chiropractic Adjustment

A chiropractic adjustment is a non-invasive procedure that is intended to restore motion to a restricted joint. When joints are restricted and/or painful, muscles can as well become tight and sore. It can also result in compensation by other muscles and joints surrounding the issue and create further problems. An adjustment works to decrease pain, muscle tightness, and restore range of motion.

Chiropractic is safe, non-invasive, drugless, and effective manual therapy for correcting the underlying cause of many health concerns:

  • Athletic Performance Enhancement
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Arm and Leg Pain/Numbness/Tingling
  • Stress and Fatigue
  • Sports, Auto, Work Injuries
  • Joint and Muscle Conditions
  • Pre-natal and Pediatric Care
  • Digestive/Bowel Disorders
  • High Blood Pressure
  • PMS Symptoms/Women’s Health
  • Low Back Pain

Lower Back Pain Treatment

Did you know that lower back pain is the second most common discomfort in humans…… two-thirds of adults are affected by lower back pain at some point in their lives?

The sight of lower back pain is most common in people aged 30-50 years and the most common causes are muscle or ligament-related injuries.

With PulStar™, Dr. Scales can scan your spine to find the exact source of your pain. Then, he can use the system’s gentle multiple impulse therapy tool for a long-lasting solution that leaves you pain-free in a fraction of the time.

During your visit, you will meet with a doctor of chiropractic. The doctor will discuss your specific concerns and show you how the PulStar multiple impulse therapy technologies may help. You can also discuss insurance coverage and ask the doctor any questions you may have before choosing to either continue with the appointment or simply walk away. Dr. Scales will also provide you with a free trial of PulStar’s Essential Elements Lotion, valued at $50, to help ease your pain.

Non-surgical Spinal Decompression

An effective treatment for:

  • Low Back/Neck Pain
  • Herniated or bulging discs
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Facet Syndromes
  • Sciatica
  • Failed Spinal Surgery
  • Spinal Stenosis

If you or your family members have been struggling with these debilitating conditions with little or no relief, then ask yourself the following questions:

  • Are you currently dependant on medications on a daily basis?
  • Are you limited in daily activities?
  • Have you had repeated injections or epidurals with little or no relief?
  • Are you considering surgery and are uncomfortable with that choice?
  • Have all the options been presented to you?
  • Have you already tried chiropractic or Physiotherapy?
  • Have you been out of work due to pain?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is certainly a viable treatment option and could very well be what you’re looking for.

Fascial Stretch Therapy

Stay Strong, Loose and Mobile - A modern approach to stretching as therapy. A science-based approach that systemically reduces overall body tension and greatly improves range of motion. Fast, effective and best of all with NO pain!

What are the benefits of receiving regular Massage Therapy treatment?

  • Reduce muscle tension
  • Reduce or eliminate joint and muscle pain
  • Improve circulation and lymphatic drainage
  • Improve joint mobility
  • Relaxation

Massage Therapy can be used to treat both acute and chronic conditions, as well as aiding in preventative care, including injury prevention, ongoing stress management and more!

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is a health treatment that works the muscles and connective tissue found below the surface of the top muscles, this is why it is called “deep” tissue massage.
Chronic pain or tense muscles are usually the results of adhesions in the tendons, muscles and ligaments. These are bands of rigid tissue, usually painful, which block circulation and cause the pain, limited movement and inflammation. Deep tissue massage breaks down the adhesions and ultimately relieving the patient of pain and muscle tension.

Soft Tissue Massage

Soft tissue massage therapy is a health treatment that addresses aches, pains and injuries suffered by the soft tissues in the body, like tendons, ligaments and muscles.
A wide variety of medical conditions can be healed with soft tissue massage therapy treatment. It can also enhance muscle performance, your circulatory system, joints and you’re of course your immune system.

What is ART?

ART is a soft tissue/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.  Injuries and dysfunction are often a result of overused muscles. Over-use injuries cause the production of tough, dense scar tissue.  ART is able to aid in correcting the dysfunction and break up the accumulation of scar tissue.
