In my opinion any natural fiber is infinitely better for us than any synthetic material!
I’ve heard people refer to cotton as “death cloth” and I understand why, in situations where you need to keep your skin dry so you don’t freeze to death cotton does become a health hazard. But in situations where life and death are not an issue cotton will breathe much, much better than virtually any synthetic material.
My favorite is wool, wool is a miracle cloth, nothing compares to a quality wool garment whether it’s a coat, shirt, socks, or undergarment it is the best possible thing we can wear in any situation. It breathes, it’s self-cleaning, it doesn’t cause Healthy Body odor like synthetics do. And its temperature self-regulating better than any other material, and a quality wool is not itchy on the skin. In my opinion.
