Stop Procrastinating

When it comes to your business you do not want to wait till your business runs out of clients till you do something about it. You need to get in the game!

Are you the type of person that thinks about great ideas for your business but never get around to doing it? And then on a Friday at 3pm you wonder why your week was so slow, you start to get mad at yourself because you did not accomplish all the things you told yourself that you needed to accomplish? Sometimes we need some inspiration to identify goals, develop an action plan and move ahead. Why? Ignoring important steps for your business is like ignoring that huge pile of laundry on the floor. It’s going to trip you up.

All of us procrastinate in one way, shape or form. Speaking of laundry: I know I have a load that needed to get washed 4 or 5 days ago, but I am not out of underwear so it is not an emergency. Yet. When it comes to your business you do not want to wait till your business runs out of clients till you do something about it. You need to get in the game!

Take action before the emergency happens. Those ideas that you had? Get them down on a note pad or note app on your phone or tablet. Every month you should put together a plan of what you will accomplish to get you to the outcome you want for your business. If it is getting a new practitioner within the facility then place the ad, put your feelers out, ask around, do some networking in your local area. If you do not pick up the ball and through it down the lane, you will never hit the pins and get a strike.

Get the ball rolling in any way you can and you will see movement happen. Have you ever remembered a time when you had to do something you really did not want to do so you put it off and put it off and then went you did it, it was not as hard as what you made it out to be in your head? This is the same thing. Get out of your head and just do what you need to do to get your business to where you want it to be.

Has this post got you thinking? Great! Take time to write down what is on your mind. Things you would like to change, add or focus on for your business. Still need some inspiration? I’ve got you covered: check out some of my other blogs below.
